Shortly before Christmas, there was a meeting with the tougher guys from Fightplace. On a cold winter’s day, Moe and Eckse (new to Fightplace) had planned to spend the evening in front of the warm stove in the studio. They didn’t expect any visitors, but then Nic and Finn dropped by unexpectedly. They probably had the same idea, but didn’t want to spend the evening outside in the cold. Despite Christmas, the mood among the boys was very bad and so there were verbal arguments right at the beginning. It was quite clear that these verbal disputes would soon turn led to physical action in the mat room. Moe suggested that the teams compete in a tag team match. Moe with his friend Eckse (20) against Nic and Finn. Eckse brought some fighting experience with him, having trained in kickboxing and MMA in the past. In the first round, when he had to prove himself against Finn, you could see that very well. Accordingly, this match started fast, aggressively and with a lot of power as an introduction to this fight night. And this much is promised: it got a bit harder from round to round. The first dirty tricks were and the rules of a tag team match were broken again and again. When Moe then threatened that this fight would be a “dirty fight”, it was clear in which direction it would go this evening. The boys did not escape without injuries, fortunately the ambulance did not have to be called.
